Father We Adore You....
Hi Ellen here!!! I was going to tell you about the most resent baptism of Benadicta.
She is very sweet and she was Baptized last Saturday. She is in High school and was here on a break when she committed life to Christ! On Saturday morning we all crowded in to the back of Tommy's truck to drive down to the beach because they don't have a baptistery(which is something that the group from Arlington might work on while they are here.) When we got there we all crowded around her and started singing this song Father we adore you, and we lay are lives before you, how we, how we love you"
Then "Spirit" and finally "Jesus." I had these huge goosebumps and tears in my eyes.
Then she and Obochy???? walked into the water but the waves were to high and so she ended up being baptized by Tommy and Obochy. Then after she walked back to us we again surrounded our new sister singing by her request Happy Day. I will never be able to describe the thrill it was to watch that! But that is the best I can do and I hope you at least have a glimpse of what it was like.
With Lots of Love
Ellen

Wow Ellen,

I feel like I was there. Thank you for sharing with us. And since it was such a very special moment for Benadicta, I'm glad you and your family were there to share it with her.

We love you and miss you bunches and bunches.

p.s. Leah competed in the Knox Co-south 3rd, 4th and 5th grade track meet today. We felt a little bit of your !hot! in the bleachers and down on the track but it was a glorious day for a track meet. She came in 6th place out of 9 girls that competed. The longest jump was 8 ft, 8 in and her jump was 8 ft 1 in so you can see how close the top 6 places were.

You are all constantly in our prayers. Give your mom and dad and Davis and Camille a big hug from Jennifer, Keith, Trevor and Leah.

Love, Aunt Jennifer :-)

Thank you for your post, Ellen! Even with all that you are having to go through - the heat, the lack of water at times, the uncertainty of electricity, not getting to come up behind some unsuspecting soul and yell "boo!" :) - I know that you must feel at home by now. And even though I know you must be excited about coming home soon, you will probably also not be ready to leave there. But know that no matter where you are, God is there with you. "Anywhere with Jesus..."

It is exciting to hear YOUR excitement for what is going on there! We are all proud of what you, Davis, and Camille are doing. As Paul told Timothy, "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." (I Tim 4:12)

God has used young people to help spread His gospel for ages, and He is using you now! How blessed you all are to be such an important part of His Kingdom!

We love you and cannot wait to see you all home again soon!

Jeff

Ellen,
We thank God that you, Davis and Camille are getting to experience something that many people only get to read about. Isn't it wonderful that God has young people all over the world who want to serve Him. We love you, Mrs Anita and Dr. Tom
